REEKON Tools Hardware Integrations

REEKON Tools has supported customer hardware integration efforts for several years and the shell CAD of all of our products is available for customers to fit our products into their jigs, fixtures, and assemblies.

Using robust measuring tools (with 500 microns of accuracy) all for under $260 is a very effective way for many engineers to add flexible measuring capabilities (with easy to use software interfaces) to semi and fully automated machines.

Some notable customer integrations include:

• Robotic arms + digital tape measures (attached to the end) for automated inspections of metal panels 

• A jig for measuring curved openings using the T1 Digital Tape Measure

• A linear sliding cart for measuring and cutting lengths of aluminum extrusions

• Specially made tips for the T1 Digital Tape Measure to fit into narrow slots in window openings

• Seamless gutter machine using the M1 Caliber to measure up to 100 lengths using the integrated roller

Many of the actual details and photos of these items are confidential to our customers (as, rightfully so, they give them a significantly advantage over their competition in capturing data) but it has been remarkable to see some of them in use in the field!
